BMW F30 map update problem

Hello. I have downloaded the "Road Map Europe Move West 2023" but when I connect it to the car's USB it does nothing.
The usb device is a 16 Gb Fat32
What am I doing wrong?

Hello. No, I used the center console. I copied all the files to the root directory and it already detects the update. Now I'm having problems with the fsc code. The BMWai does not generate the fsc code correctly. I will continue to investigate
 
If you can get 1B fsc file, then can generate it easily.

How can i get the 1b fsc file?.
I search and find for e90 but not for f30...
Can you tell me??

If you have esys, can do with that.
Also i believe Your mentioned BMWAI could read and save it.
 
When You connect to the esys and car, use FSC extended under Expert mode:
Parameter section enter:
1. Diagnostic Address (hex) = 0x63
2. Click on the Identify button and HU_CHAMP2 will be populated
3. Application ID = 0x1B
4. Upgrade Index = 0x1

Then
5. Select Store FSC and move from left to the right
6. Click on the Read button
7. Click Save and name the file

I need the most recent map update for my F30 330e 2018. Do you have a link to share? I found one which is 22GB and seems unreasonable.
I have a 40 mb UPD11024.bin file (not sure when how was downloaded) on a 4gb stick formatted as fat32 but it is rejected ...
The error message is 'Software on USB device not suitable for this vehicle'

What exact map you have now installed in the unit?
UPD** have no usage for updating navi in this case.
 
Thanks: what's FSC ? The download is about 2GB: isn't it too big ?
 
Where you found 2GB ?
FSC is unique code which is issued from BMW or installed third party patch..
 
I picked western europe map which is 2gb.
Where do I get the FSC code?
